About

I am a Lecturer (Assistant Professor) in Economics Education in the King's College London Department of Political Economy and a Visiting Research Fellow at the Qatar Centre for Global Banking & Finance at the King's Business School.

Prior to joining King’s, I was a post-doctoral researcher at the University of Surrey School of Economics. I received my PhD in Economics from Iran in 2019.

My research fields are in open economy macroeconomics and economic modelling using structural and empirical DSGE macroeconomic multi-country models.

My current areas of interest include: currency pricing issues and their implications for optimal monetary policy rules; optimal unconventional monetary policy (liquidity provision) and macro-prudential policies (foreign reserve intervention) in open-economy NK models with financial frictions.
